AMANDA ATHAYDE
Adjunct Professor of Business Law at the University of Brasilia (UnB) and of Economic and Competition Law at the Institute of Public Law Brasiliense (IDP). PhD in Commercial Law from the University of São Paulo (USP), Bachelor of Laws from the Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG) and in Business Administration with a degree in Foreign Trade from the UNA University Center. She was a student at Université Paris I - Panthéon Sorbonne, and published books, academic articles and book chapters in the area of Business, Competition and Economic Law. She has worked in the Brazilian Competition Defense System (SBDC) since 2010, having participated in the Cade Exchange Program (PinCade) in 2008. Public servant of the federal executive, Foreign Trade Analyst at the Ministry of Industry, Foreign Trade and Services ( MDIC), having worked in the negotiation of international agreements for cooperation and investment facilitation. Between 2013 and 2017, she served as Chief of Staff of the General Superintendence of the Administrative Council for Economic Defense (SG / Cade) and Coordinator of the Antitrust Leniency Program, referring to cartel cases. She is currently Undersecretary for Trade Defense and Public Interest (SDCOM) of the Foreign Trade Secretariat (SECEX) of the Ministry of Economy. Pedro and Lucas' mother.
